Have I found it? I think maybe I just might have…….. motherhood, enjoying my children, breastfeeding, babywearing, homeschooling, cooking, cleaning, sewing. Walking the dogs, pulling up weeds, attempting to grow some herbs and veggies, composting, just taking life as it comes at an easy pace.

That brings me so much joy it’s hard to contain. I love growing things, and nothing can stop me, not even the withered stems of would-be-tomato plants!

Its funny, my last post was also titled bliss… Although it had more to do with the beautiful early summer weather and the privilige of doing my work from the back deck of my home… Its funny, I experience bliss on an ongoing basis– listening to my son tell a story, working on a project that has meaning, feeling the sun on my face, puttering around at the beach down the street from my home– but it always feels so good, so refreshing, making me feel so alive…
What sewing projects are you working on? I have just gotten really into it in the last few months– made a whole felt food set, and now working on the most awesome “there was an old lady who swallowed a spider” doll (as in the song– its an old lady doll and all the animals from the song, which you can pop through her mouth into her body). I am really enjoying the hands-onness and focus of sewing these days. Not to mention, the mastery of the sewing machine…
Any good projects to reccomend?

That does sound like bliss! Well, except for the homeschooling, noooo desire to do that here, and my sewing truly stinks. Can I trade writing for that instead?
