That would be so hard to do but i bet the other couple are over the moon. It would take some very special people to be able to do that.
Im not sure what the law is in the US but here the person who gives birth is ‘the birth mother’ so Im guessing here in OZ, by law the women carrying the bub could keep him/her.
So sad for all involved.

Happened in the UK too, recently – http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/8100548.stm In this instance, the woman given the wrong embryo by mistake took the morning after pill to ensure it did not implant. Any way I think of it, it brings me to tears, for everyone involved.
